Stuttering or dysfluency is a speech disorder in which the flow of speech is disrupted by repetitions, pauses or prolongations of words or parts of words. These disorders affect the rhythm and speed of speech when a person is communicating. Although, there is no universally identified cause for stuttering, most researchers believe that stuttering is the results of a combination of genetic and environmental factors. There are many treatment approaches that help a child decrease his/her dysfluencies.
Here is a list of Super Duper® materials to help with treating a child that stutters.
