These are additional materials to supplement your Edmark Reading Program.

Used in classrooms and homes with success, Spelling Level 1, reinforces words learned in the Edmark Reading Program, Level 1. It contains 48 units, covering all 150 words and the three word endings from the Edmark Reading Program. Introduce Spelling, Level 1 after students complete lesson 108 from the Edmark Reading Program and master the first 50 words in that program. The spelling words do not follow the same sequence as the Edmark Reading Program. Number of letters in a word, from least to most determine word sequence. The first half of Spelling, Level 1 is slower than the second half, and contains review units and review words. Beginning in "Unit 27," the pace increases but does not include review units; although, the review words are present in all units. All spelling units contain the following five activities: writing the word, filling in missing letters, completing sentences, drawing a picture, and writing a dictionary definition.

Spelling, Level 2 reinforces spelling and writing skills as students learn to spell each of the 200 words presented in the Edmark Reading Program, Level 2. Words follow the same sequence as in Edmark Reading Program 2. Spelling, Level 2 includes 53 units—40 spelling units with five words in each unit and 13 review units. In the unit activities, students write the word, fill in a missing letter, complete a sentence, and write a new sentence. Spelling, Level 2 provides two tests—one for students to take home at the beginning of the week, and the other for a spelling test at the end of the week. Includes activities for additional practice.

Use the Supplemental Worksheets for the Edmark Reading Program, Level 1 to provide the student with additional reinforcement of words learned, independent seatwork, and take-home activities. These 286 reproducible worksheets include activities that have students match words and pictures by underlining, circling, drawing lines, or cutting and pasting.

The Supplemental Worksheets for the Edmark Reading Program, Level 2 provide students with additional reading and spelling practice for school and home use. Contains 140 separate worksheets—one worksheet for every two words in the program, plus 20 "Word Quiz" sheets, and 20 stories with comprehension questions.

Word Bingo, Level 1 makes learning fun as it reinforces words from the Edmark Reading Program, Level 1. Each of the 150 reproducible bingo game cards correspond to specific lessons. Includes 150 single word flashcards for extra practice.
