The Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration,
5th Edition (BeeryT VMI) is a standardized assessment of visual-motor skills needed for academic success. Use the Short Format with children 2-8 years, and the Long Format with children 2-18 years. The supplemental Visual Perception Test and the Motor Coordination Test are optional assessments, administered after the Short Format or Long Format tests. Administer one or both of the supplemental tests to compare an individual's visual-motor test results with a purely visual or motor test result, further pinpointing areas of weakness.
Additionally, the BeeryT VMI, 5th Edition manual now provides 600 age-specific norms from birth through age six in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, visual, and visual-motor development.
