Five Ways of Looking is a series of card decks, semantic web boards, and activities to assess, and ultimately improve, a child's ability to acquire, generalize, and categorize vocabulary words. Five Ways takes 25 everyday words and presents them in cards at five different levels, ranging from the easiest to the most difficult for a child to identify.

The double-sided semantic web boards (9 3/4" x 8 1/8") provide a framework for teaching vocabulary words. Use one side to teach the words to the child and then increase the level of identification difficulty. Use the other side to help the child tell the difference between the target words and non-target words. 125 cards in all!
