KSPTK-2 is the advanced level of the Kaufman Speech Praxis Treatment Kit(KSPTK) developed for children with apraxia who have been successful with P, B, M, T, D, N, and H in Kit 1 but have difficulty with production, synthesis and sequencing of K, G, S, SH, I, F, and consonant blends S, R, L in initial and final positions. The KSPTK-2 picture cards are divided into the following sections: - Initial position – K, G, L, F, S, SH
- "Low" pivot syllables (hollow)
- Final position – K, F, S, SH
- Pivot syllables – "ter," "ber," "ing"
- Initial Blends – S, R, L
- Familiar complex bisyllabics (cookie, paper)
- One/two syllable back-velars to tip-alveolars (candy)
- Familiar complex polysyllabics (telephone, elephant)
- One/two syllable tip-alveolars to back-velars (tank)
