Make-n-Takes and More Make-n-Takes Combo

Students will jump at the opportunity to make these activities and take them home for practice! Make-n-Takes is 320 pages and contains eight engaging storybooks that teach speech, language, and literacy skills. These units target the patterns identified in Hodson's cycles approach to phonological remediation. Sound patterns include initial anteriors, initial S clusters, final S Clusters, initial liquids L, R, and clusters with L and R.

Individual speech sound and blends include initial R, D, N, S, L, R, SM, SN, SP, ST, SK, final PS, TS, KS, initial CR, BR, FR, GR, PR, THR, TR, BL, CL, FL, GL, PL, and SL.

More Make-n-Takes is 300 pages and focuses on the sound patterns of 2- and 3-syllable words, initial consonants, final consonants, fnal velars, and initial glottals in eight more stories. Speech sounds targeted include initial P, M, W, K, G, H, final M, N, P, T, and K.

Each book includes the reproducible picture sequence cards and flash cards, as well as the reproducible activities components. Use the CD-ROM to print activities in black and white or color.
