The TWF-2 is a nationally standardized, individually administered diagnostic tool for the assessment of children's word finding skills. The TWF-2 uses four different naming sections to test a student’s word finding ability: Picture Naming Nouns, Sentence Completion Naming, Picture Naming Verbs, and Picture Naming Categories. The TWF-2 provides supplemental analysis as follow-up procedures to the TWF-2 word-finding measures. The examiner will gain critical information from these analysis that will both enhance the interpretation of the student’s test performance and help to formulate a word finding intervention plan. Description This new version tests word finding skills in children ages 4;0-12;11. It provides three forms: pre-primary for preschool and kindergarten, primary for first and second grades, and intermediate for third through sixth grades. New norms include preschoolers. The TWF-2 has four naming sections:
- Picture Naming Nouns
- Sentence Completion Naming
- Picture Naming Categories
- Picture Naming Verbs
