LiPS Fourth Edition

LiPS: Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech - Fourth Edition is a comprehensive multisensory program that targets critical reading skills including phonological awareness, decoding, and spelling. Steps in the LiPS Program are:

Students hear, see, and feel the physical characteristics of sounds as they explore the physical movements of sounds. Instruction progresses from articulatory movement to sound, then to letter in order to teach sound-letter associations. This in-depth knowledge facilitates students' knowledge of word construction as well as self-correction techniques.
