Time Timer
We used it at home for speech therapy for my son with autism. He knows how to wait once we set it for let's say 30 minutes before he can eat his food or before he can ride in the car for his reward for working with manipulatives. Great product at an affordable price.

I can't wait to recieve my time timer. I have wanted one for a long time. Not only will it help me keep time for my therapy sessions it provides a reference to the students as to how much longer before the sessions ends without them asking. It is a great tool to teach time management and patience.

What is not to like?? Everything from Super Duper Publications is great. My students were having a hard time understanding time lapse and it was making transitions very difficult for them...and for me. Now, with the classroom time timer the students can SEE the time lapsing and then expect the end of the activity...without any major issues...in addition, it also keeps me on time... I love it!!!

Time Timer
My son finds the concept of time a little difficult to grasp and so we purchased the Time Timer to help turn it into a visual idea. He loves it! We immediately starting using it when it arrived and have used it every day since. My son runs to get it whenever I say, "Okay you can play _ in 15 minutes."

I like the way that my student and I can see the time elapses over time instead of instant beeping sound from other electronic timer.

love the audible signal

Time Timer
I've had time timers without the audible signal in my classroom. They were well used and eventually, I needed new ones. When buying new ones I decided to get the ones with the signal. Often when we use the time timers, we forget to keep checking to see if the time has run out. The audible signal helps remind us when time is up. We use them for showing how much time is left of an activity, before an activity starts, how long to sit for a time out, etc..

Time Timer
We like the timer for the most part. Our son has autism and is very visual so seeing the color disappear helps him understand how much time he has left when we work on skills at the table. I like the option that allows the time to end silently or with an audible sound. The red color can easily be seen and it is very easy to set the time. The timer is of good quality. I like the 8" size so it can be seen from farther away-we usually put in on the mantle so my son can't play with it. It is ideal for visual students who cannot yet tell time. I was surprised there was no clear plastic cover on the face of the clock. My son got hold of it the first week we got it and wrinkled part of the white space around the numbers. It can easily be broken because of this. I would like to see a plastic cover with a knob that pokes through that allows you to set the timer. I think that would protect it much better and then it would also last a lot longer. It is also important to remember that the clock is always on. If you want it to last, you must remove the batteries when it is not in use. The clock is a worthwhile purchase as long as your child does not have an opportunity to play with the face of the clock.

Time Timer
I have used this timer for my toddler son to let him know how much time he has to accomplish something or how much time he has before we have to leave the house. He used to ask me how many more minutes, but now he can see by the red remaining on the timer. I also used this with timed games in the classroom and the children can see the time easier even if they are not right next to the clock.

Time Timer
A picture is worth 1,000 words ... and saved me from answering 1,000 times the same questions: How much longer before we go to recess? or How much more time until we go to lunch? Visuals help communicate and this timer is an eye-catching, perfect example of how a visual can save classroom time. It answers the question for you. Less talking, less interruptions, and a perfect tool for the children in the classroom to practice time-mangement. Buy the personal timer for your home use; to stop the incessant question on car trips: How much longer 'til we get there? What a useful product!
