These workouts have been great to use at the start of a session to get students "in tune" to better their listening skills. The record form is especially useful as another piece to consider when I need to informally assess a student's progress with a listening skill.I have also used them as home practice assignments.

MY DAUGHTER EXCERISES A LOT BECAUSE SHE LIKES TO. SHE HAS DOWN SYNDROME AND COULD BE HEAVY IF SHE DIDN'T WORK OUT. SHE KNOWS WHAT THE BENEFITS ARE FOR HER PHYSICALLY. RELATING EXCERSIZING HER LISTENING EFFORTS TO WORKING OUT SPHYSICALLY HAS HELPED HER IN ALL HER SUBJECTS. SHE CAN SEE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EXCERSIZING AND BETTERMENT IN LISTENING AND REMEMBERING JUST LIKE HER PHYSICAL EXCERSIZING. I like the "work outs" in this book. They work great when I have a little bit of time left in a session and need something quick to fill that spot. The "workouts" range in difficulty and task allowing you to target a lot of different levels and skills.

I love this book as well as the whole Work Out series! They are easy to use saving me time with planning. The activities are quick allowing small group sessions to move right along without other students becoming antsy. I highly recommend this book if you target following directions and auditory skills at a mid-lower elementary level.

I enjoy your products and...
I enjoy your products and love your language games/activities. I would like more interactive products and language stimulating toys for early childhood. I work with many pre-kindergarten students and would benefit from a larger variety of products for children at this age. I love the fluency enhancing tools and the Magne Talk activities.
