Great Teaching Cards
These cards are a great way to get my students with communication disorders to think about a situation in order to formulate a question.
Great for Inferences
I have just started using this deck of cards with my students working on inferencing. It is a great addition to my inferencing materials and gives some "real life" examples for inferences. There are some silly ones as well and the kids responded well to the pictures.
My students love this fun deck. It is engaging them to think deeper about what conversation maybe taking place.
My students have a hard time asking questions to obtain information. These cards are a great way to practice asking questions in a variety of functional settings-home, school, and community, with several types of communication partners. They are great!
Great fundeck that tackles 2 big issues!
I use this a lot with the younger kids on my caseload. I try to incorporate verbal reasoning skills as much as I can in all my therapy sessions. I also like to target asking questions. Both skills are challenging to many students. This fundeck addresses both. Perfect!
Lots of choices
There are so many picture cards and so many choices. Makes it really easy to achieve your goals.
What Are They Asking? Fun Deck
This Fun Deck is helpful when students have difficulty generating questions. The playful pictures and speech bubbles encourage my students to formulate questions in response to the people on the cards. I give this product four stars instead of five because I feel that some of the pictures require questions that are not functional for the students in their everyday lives.
I very much enjoy these cards for a great variety of activities: direct speech, pragmatics, and complex sentences
the pictures are clear and the children really enjoy this activity!!
These cards are great!
I love these cards for use with my students. They provide pictures of familiar scenes that my students can relate to in their lives. Great for eliciting all types of question forms.
What Are They Asking? cards
Great fun deck for teaching inference skills! I use it all the time with preschool and school age children.
No better investment!
Once again, Fun Deck does not disappoint. These are wonderful communication starters as well as story builders. Can't say enough good things about the entire Fun Deck series. With it's sturdy case and colorful cards, you can't go wrong with any of these selections!
most of the cards are very helpful and useful
some of them weren't this helpful due to the different way of life that we havw here in greece
Asking Wh- Questions
This deck has been extremely useful in targeting clinical goals pertaining to question formation for children who have difficulty with asking questions, understanding how to formulate appropriate questions, and understanding various situations to ask questions. It's my go-to deck of cards for a fun and different activity targeting wh- questions. The picture support also benefits children who are visual learners!
Great pictures for therapy
It is always hard to teach students (especially with autism) how to ask questions and I have found that these cards have been very helpful. The students can relate to most of the pictures and begin to understand how to ask questions. Only wish cards had a matching card with possible written questions (as so many of my students are visual and readers).
Talk about questions
These are great. In addition to their obvious use, they can be used for helping to teach "staying on topic" and asking appropriate questions for the situation at hand or for understanding intention. The tin is great for keeping these in good shape.
Super Fun "Fun Deck"
I really love this Fun Deck and would like to see a few more of these in your catalog. I would buy them! The kids are able to come up with such interesting and unique questions because of the silly pictures. I get a good laugh every time I use them!
